How do I display page numbers with Roman numerals?
Right click (or control-click) on an inserted page number and select the numbering type you want.
"…you need to resize the picture for real. The most obvious tool to do this would be Preview, but unfortunately, Preview in Mac OS X 10.5 still does not support resizing."
Funny I missed that. The confusing thing is that you can change resolution when you Save. As you change resolution there, one could assume that the Save dialogue would be the right place to adjust the size as well. However, that is not the case, just as you point out.

Thanks so much, saved me so much time and so easy. I looked at some other advice, and was not helpful. Really appreciate it.
