How do I create Word Art with Pages?

You cannot.

If you want to let the letters dance over the page following curves or shapes, you have to go beyond Pages.

A few other products that support wordart like features are Art Text and Comic Life, but there are more ones out there. You can check Version tracker for more alternatives.

That's really sad. I just came from being a PC user and would have thought Mac (MAC) would have something to compete with a program as simple as Microsoft publisher in that regard.

You can purchase a version of microsoft office for mac.

This is a rubbish upgrade. I just got a mac and bought pages for my son's hlw. He expected to use word art however, you cannot do it. How come? Maybe I should delete pages after all. MICROSOFT IS MUCH BETTER THAN PAGES!!! HA HA

Pages is text editor, not a art text editor, thus is well known mac is much better for design
